Technology Aces LLC is now accepting applications for an individual to fill a long-term consulting assignment in Southeastern Michigan. The position will be a full-time customer application support person for BS&A Tax and Assessing applications.
Candidates should meet the following standards:
- Minimum one year experience using either the BS&A Tax or Assessing application
- Proficiency in problem-solving
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- An accounting background is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check through Michigan State Police

I’m very happy to announce that Visual Consulting has signed up to provide Technology Aces powered hosting to their catalog of web site hosting customers.
As part of the new hosting agreement all Visual Consulting clients are being upgraded to a new managed server facility. The facility offers climate control, 24/7 secure monitored building access and backup generator power.

I was having lunch with a friend and candidate Shaun the other day and during the conversation he said something that reminded me how an employee of Inatech (fictional company from the movie Office Space) has been trained to think about their employer.
We where discussing time-off and how many days a year he wanted. He gave me a number, I calculated the amount we would have to withhold from his check and at that point I thought we would move onto another topic. That’s when he asked
"So, what happens if I don’t use that many days"
What? At first I did not understand the question. Then I realized that he still works for Inatech and expected me to keep his money…money he worked for…
Bottom line; It was a not so subtle but pleasant reminder that Technology Aces is not Inatech
In my quest to differentiate Technology Aces from the rest of the mindless corporations attached to contractors like leeches I decided it would be a nice, personal touch to have a company blog. My partner Kevin and I have a great deal of knowledge to share about staffing. Also our non-traditional views on staffing, such as we work for the candidates, should create some nice articles.
